Educational Therapy Associates provides advocacy for parents and students who request help with program planning at school. After an evaluation or after consultation, parents can request further help with advocacy. Ms. Lowell is available to attend school meetings with parents and other professionals to discuss results of the evaluation or consultation and to assist in educational program planning.

Susan C. Lowell provides teacher training in research-based curriculum in phonemic awareness through Brookes Publishing Company’s teacher training program, ‘Brookes on Location.’ Curricula included are Road to the Code and Phonemic Awareness in Young Children, both published by Brookes Publishing Company. Ms. Lowell teaches a graduate level course on reading instruction through Buffalo State University, State University of New York’s M.A. program for teachers in the American International schools. This course is taught on site at the international schools. Information about the program is available on the web at Ms. Lowell provides international workshops and international school consultations in research-based reading instruction and literacy for the U.S. Department of State, Office of Overseas Schools and serves as an Advisor to the Board of Directors of the Office of Overseas Schools
